At JBT Marel, we find it important to treat each other with respect and to ensure a pleasant work environment. No one should feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or threatened because of others. Unfortunately, it can still happen that you experience (or witness) unwanted behaviour, such as:
- Sexual harassment
- Aggression or violence
- Discrimination
- Bullying or intimidation

If you find it difficult to resolve the issue with the person involved or your manager, you can always contact a confidential advisor. Several colleagues at JBT Marel are available to support you. They are bound by confidentiality and will never share your information without your permission. All contact takes place exclusively through the confidential counselors and not via Samen Sterk. This way, you can be assured that your situation is handled with the utmost care and discretion.
You can contact a confidential advisor with questions like:
- “A colleague behaved inappropriately towards me, and I’d like to address it. What’s the best way to do that?”
- “Colleagues keep making jokes at someone’s expense. I don’t find it funny, but I don’t want to ruin the atmosphere either. What can I do?”
