Practical information
There’s a lot of conflicting advice about healthy eating online, in magazines, and on packaging. Even manufacturers often promote products as “healthy,” making it hard to know what’s true. Our colleague Milou Veenhuis helps you cut through the confusion and find what works for you. This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to eat healthier but doesn’t know where to start.
You’ll learn:
- Where to find reliable nutrition information
- How to read and understand labels
- What nutrients do in your body
- Which common food myths aren’t true
- Practical tips to stay consistent
During the workshop, you’ll practise reading labels in a mock supermarket setting. So you’ll know exactly which products fit your healthy lifestyle.
Milou: “I want to give you tools to decide for yourself whether your food choices are healthy. Whether it’s a trendy new product or grandma’s old-fashioned pea soup.”
